Switching Films Amid Studio Changes

Well, things are always changing around here at DreamWorks.  With the swap of release dates between "Home" and "The Penguins" movie means a crew swap as well.  So I am one of those making the move over to Penguins for the rest of the summer.  Just starting to watch some of the sequences now...really excited to move onto this one.  Sounds like a great way to spend the summer.

Unfortunately, not everyone at the company is included in this new schedule.  Some extremely smart and talented people are getting let go this week.  Really hard to see.  Let's hope Penguins is a home run and we reverse this seemingly yearly trend...

First Trailer for "Home"

Along with the opening of Dragons 2 today, the trailer for "Home" has premiered!  This movie is charming as hell, and I'm glad that even with the new later release date, that they're getting this trailer out there.  

The tone of this trailer reminds me a bit of the "Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy" film - and that's a very good thing in my mind :)
